Big Announcement from The Music Rewind Podcast
I can finally tell the world that my son has been cast as Michael Darling in the national tour of Peter Pan The Musical!
WHAT?!?!?!
That’s right! My little guy, who just two years ago told my listeners in a bonus episode that he wants to be on the stage to make people smile, is hitting the road to a theater near you soon.
Reed is infamously known as Watermelon Boy in this commercial and also Young James in the student film Self-Reflection and has two commercial pending release for Juicy Juice and Cox Communications. Now a National Broadway Tour in a principle role to be directed by Emmy-Award winning Lonny Price! So, his acting career is taking off and it is bringing exciting changes to all of us. His mom and I are extremely proud of this talented little 9yr old.
You can follow Reed on his Instagram, @reedepleyactor and his acting website, www.reedepley.com, and remember to check out the short episode he did with us here. It is fascinating.
You can follow the Peter Pan show on its Instagram, @peterpanthemusical or at www.peterpanontour.com
You can also read more in the Playbill article announcement.
On To Music Rewind....
As you may have guessed, this is also the reason why Music Rewind is taking a pause as his mother and I will be on the road with him, enjoying every minute of him on stage. I think future recordings will be possible, once we get the
schedule down. There is a good list of people who have asked to be on the show and maybe I can even convince some cast members to bring an album to the table. The show will resume when the dust settles, however right now my priority is Never Never Land.
Our last episode for awhile will be my interview with the band Black Note Graffiti coming out on November 3rd. We discuss their band, their roots & influences, as well as albums from The Deftones and The Refused that they brought to the table.
For now, please check out all our recent episodes, join our Treasure Hunt and follow us on all the socials!
Thank you to all the guests and listeners!
-Steve
